Fulbright is an excellent school. This is my son and daughter's first year attending this school. They have really helped my son academically considering that he came from a charter school that didn't teach him anything and got him up to the grade level he should have been in within 5mos. I recommend this school to anyone. It even has pre-k as well. All 3 of my kids will be attending Fulbright next yearl!

Fulbright is crowded and hectic. The open pod design means that all the students in a grade hear all four classrooms at once. The school's test scores are above average, but that's more a reflection of the demographics of the neighborhood rather than the quality of education received at the school.

My daughter went here for Kinder and First grade, then for Second grade she went to the new school Roberts which is within walking distance from our house. It didn't take too long to realize what a treasure we had at Fulbright, and now I am doing anything possible to change her back. Fulbright is an amazing school!

This is my son's 4th year at Fulbright. He loves it! Each year we have been lucky to have wonderful teachers. They have all taken extra time to challenge him and to instill in him a desire to challenge himself. His teachers and the administration have always made themselves available.

When we moved here from antoher state, eveyone told us how lucky we were to be in the fulbright Zone. Maybe it's because I was comparing it to our former school, but I was shocked at how the aides we allowed to yell at the kids. We put in one year, then were thrilled when my daughter's name came up on the list to go to Gibbs.

I have two children at fulbright, and I have to say I am extremely pleased. This is their 2nd year, and they both love it! the only thing I can say that I have not been happy with is the principal seems to not be with it at times. I have tried to contact her on 2 occasions this year, and get no response from her. My son has been there 2 years and she has asked him twice if he is a new student. But overall it is a fantastic school, and the teachers are excellent! Kudos to mrs. Watson, and mrs. Shelton! we love you!

This is not a school for the easily distracted, ADHD, or kids who cannot concentrate with a lot of noise. The school is 'open' meaning that the classrooms are not separated by doors and walls, but rather partitions and curtains, so you hear noises from the other classes around you. Its very loud all the time. Even the library is not in a closed room. Each of the class areas has an open window out to the hallway, which carries noise from the hallway into the classroom. My child finds it very hard to concentrate and pay attention due to the noise, and this is not well understood by his teacher who believes a 9 year old is capable of sitting still, and concentrating for 5 hours out of the day and ignore the very loud noises of the open space school.

My child has special needs and has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). At first it was difficult to get cooperation in having her IEP implemented. However, once I let the principal know that I was serious about having it put into action, she and the other staff responded with respect and enthusiasm. My child had been to two other public schools and was miserable at each of them. Although Fulbright may not have the highest test scores, I believe the reason is because Fulbright has a lot of chilren with special needs. Academic programs, availablility of music, art and other extracurricular activities is good. Fulbright probably has the best parent involvement of any elementary school in Little Rock. My child's fifth grade teacher is our favorite. We will miss Fulbright Elementary, home of the Falcons. We believe that Fulbright Elementary is the best elementary school in the Little Rock School District.
