I have never had a problem with my daughters education, until Mena Middle School. As the only other parent that commented on this page for reviews, my daughter went from all A's and B's to C's and D's in the second semester. When I followed up with the teachers to find out why I was never notified until report cards of this drop, they assured me they would communicate better the next grading period. Instead regardless of numerous emails and visits to the school teachers and principals, my daughters grade in 1 class has only dropped.

The teachers, for the most part, are OK, though when your child is struggling, they do NOT keep in touch as they say they will. Last year, one of my kids had no Social Studies book, and the same this year. My younger child started 6th grade this year, and they have some books, but not enough. You can bet there is always money for buses to away athletic events, but not for books. Very frustrating!
