I've got my youngest in kindergarten this year at Marvin. My other children attended a school in another state nearby. I really think his teacher is doing a great job, but things are definately different in the other areas of school. It is a very small town and low income, but I know other small schools that do great things. I believe it's not so much how much you spend as what you do in the classroom, because i've seen it done. There seems to be a problem with classroom control and I think that depends on each teacher. I don't know what kind of backing the teachers get, as far as discipline. Part of it may be the times we live in, but if the classes are out of control you can't have an environment of learning.
My family moved to Mulberry a couple of years ago and I didn't know what to think of mulberry school with it being so small. My children love the school and the teachers, I only wish they had more parent involvement, but overall I think my children are at the best place at this time for their education needs.
