Our school is full of caring and very qualified teachers and administrators. Both of my children went through RSD and I was extremely pleased with the classes offered and the education they received/are receiving!

Russellville Middle School is a wonderful school. The administration and staff work very hard to challenge their students and ensure a positive and safe environment for them to learn. I highly recommend RMS and I am excited that my child will attend RMS in just a few years.

RMS is a wonderful school. My daughter attended there and everyone was wonderful to work with. They have a caring attitude and they gave 110% in working with my child. I have observed as a RSD employee the attitude of the faculity out of the classroom and they are sincerly caring about the education of the students. They want the best for all. (I work in another building) The administration of RMS is very easy to talk to and listen to any concerns of the students, parents, and faculty.

Great School! Tons of extracurriculars and a high standard of academic rigor! Mrs. Edgin and her staff have created a student centered learning environment where students thrive and love being there. From quiz bowl to many sports teams and a myriad of things in between, there is literally something for every student to get involved in and feel welcomed. As a parent and a teacher in the district I am very excited that my children will attend RMS.

I have had four children go through this school and I'm sure this school had a great deal to do with them performing well in later grades, jobs, and just life in general. They often mention a teacher or activity they have fond memories of, but what I noticed the most is when they would relate how the middle school prepared them for something later- even ten years later in a job, social situation, or whatever came their way. Some teachers have moved on and others taken their place, including administration; but the caring attitude , fun but rigor of instruction has been steadfast and life changing.

UE5G is a great place for your child to learn and develop. They start by having them rotate between 4 teachers to prepare them for the coming years. They also have many activities for students to learn and step outside of their box. Great school!

The school is to big for the principal or teachers to care about everyone and so there are lots of bad things going on that are swept under the rug. Why correct issue you can hide.

Want to improve this school's profile?

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.
