i agree with the other review. the teachers are committed and the kids are mostly equal. the middle school is a good place to go before high school, as compared to other nearby middle schools, houston has a much more friendly and unbiased environment which has helped my child in high school. compared to children from other middle schools, most houston kids will be friendlier. although it always does depend on the child, at houston, you have a chance to have a few more safe years for the discrimination of high school sets in. and that, in the long run, will be a good thing.
This is school is excellent socially and educationally. The teachers are outstanding and very wise. The school is not large and therefore does not have a clique problem. In such a small town, it gives the students a place where they know everyone and feel fairly close.
