I have two children that attend this school. I have been involved with the school for 4 years and I can tell you that the teachers here at James Guinn really do care about their students. My son is in the GATE program and I feel that he is getting an excellent education there. I believe this school gets a bad rep because most of the parents are not involved with their child's education. I see too many parents drop off their kids treat this elementary as a day care. The school is only as good as it's parents involvement with the school. We have a very small PTA that does many things for the school that would have not been done otherwise. If more parents would get involved with this school and their child's education I'm sure the perseverance of this school would rise.

The 07/08 school year has been the far Most helpful for my daughter, I am Extreamly happy with my daughters teacher (Mrs. Delp 2nd grade). Mrs. Delp worked with my daughter and my self the ENTIRE school year to meet her Goals, I am very satisfied with the school to have a teacher like her. Over all the school is great, well organized.

From what I have experienced, everyone from the Principle to the Office Clerks have been ttwonderful including my daughters teachers (Ms. Pasig and Ms. Kim). They are always there to listen, make adjustments as they see fit and express their concern for wanting to do what they think will be the very best for the students. This school gets and A+ from me!

James guinn provides adequte teaching materilas, however there have been many times that I have felt when a child gets pigeon wholed, the majority of the staff continues this though process.

This is one of the best schools I have ever sent my child too! I have to say out of all the schools in the Anaheim School District this is the best school with the highest test scores. The school's atmoshpere is very heartwarming and the teachers are very dedicated to providing education. This school also provides students with lots of programs and extra curricular activities that others schools don't have. For a great education and a safe campus this is the best school to send your child!

The school is great. I go there, I think the teachers are great. Everything they teach is so clear and understanding. If you do not understand something they will show you. The teacher that takes care of us when we are outside. They try to make everything safe. Some of the teachers let us help them with the PE. If you are looking for a school go to Guinn. By the letter that you have been reading, it shows how much teaching they have done to us. There is not a lot of fragments, spelling mistakes, or any grammer mistakes. So go to James M. Guinn School!
