This is a terrific school with most likely the best principal I have ever experienced at a private school. The staff are all very qualified and in many cases the teachers have obtained their Master's degree. Technology, Math, Science, Music and Drama are all a part of this school.

Great School with a very qualified staff with focus on excellent education and a strong Christian identity. Very pleased with the education provided to our children.

Great School! I have three children there. The new principle is awesome and has really raised the bar! The classes are large (compared to public schools) but it really is not a problem because of the excellent discipline. The students are taught important life skills along with an excellent education! OLPh is an excellent catholic school!

Small school, but high student to teacher ratio. Teachers are overly strict and the education my daughter has received is adequate. The school is good compared to many public schools in Bakersfield, but it is not exceptional.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
