Teachers are fine, the admin staff and ancillary workers are somewhat iffy. Huge lack of communication and consistance causes unnecessary drama.

Me and my kids love this school. I felt perfectly safe leaving my kids in these teachers hands. They were open, welcoming, inviting, all the things 3 Rings Ranch was not. The teachers care, they listen, they talk. The principal Carolyn Goode is awesome! I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

Brookside is a great school. From the reviews that I have read regarding kids coming home with 2-3 hours of homework nightly and it's takes too long to take advantage of the volunteer aspects through the school or district. Listen, I agree with those parents that state the teachers are spread thin. We're not the only school district that has to deal with that, blame the state budget for that or lack of. It is our responsibility as parents to take the time to get involved with our children, the school and especially your child's teacher. Teachers need to know that they have your support in educating your child(ren). Teacher's are with our children a large portion of the day and in some circumstances, they see your child more than you do(truth). Become apart of your child's learning and you'll see an amazing child/student flouorish. Communication is the KEY!

I teach at Brookside. We are a newly distinguished school. The staff works very well together and they put students first. The PTA and parents support is amazing. We are very lucky to have such great parent support.

The 4th and 5th grade classes are overcrowed. My child's star testing has dropped. There are too many kids in one class for a teacher to properly teach.

Just about the best school. Special education emphasis on children in need of special help is outstanding.

4th and 5th grade classes are to crowded. My child went from an outstanding student to below average in just one year, beacause the teacher was spead to thin. My child would come home with at least 2 to 3 hgours of homework each night, to me that says the teacher didnt have enough time to do his or her job. I think so many parents would love to help out and volunteer but the process to do so is a headahce, dont get me wrong its for the safety of our children, but it takes to long.

I think that Brookside school is a wonderful learning environment for students. It is an open school that encourages team work at all levels, from teachers to staff members to students! I am very happy to be a part of this school. The academic program is given the utmost importance. The teachers are hard-working and wonderful guides for our students. I appreciate all the time and effort that the teachers put in to create positive and rewarding learning opportunities for our students. I feel lucky to be a member of this school and community! Great Job :)

Parent involvement is very limited. Unless kids are taught how to do the work expected of them how are they going to do it and do it right. Extracurricular activities are not a big deal to me, it's the teaching that I am having a problem with.
