I have noticed good changes at this school. The teachers have high expectations and are even talking about college to the students already!

This school is poor in every level, the staff, the teachers and the afterschool program. I have the same problem with my daughter, she comes home telling me that the teacher doesn't explain the homework. There is so much bullying with kids there and teachers do not get involved at all or do anything. You can never get a hold of the principal either. I have had problem afte problem with this school and its time for a change.

I went to little Suva, big Suva and Bell Gardens High. 2 of my children attended Suva also and yes Suva is trying harder at acheiving the state goals, and the apperance of the school has improved drastically.

I honestly believe it's one of the best elementary schools in the Bell Gardens area. They have a great after school program for extended learning.

I believe that the quality of academic level is poor.I understand that they are trying to work on that but I think they have long way to go.My son would get packets of homework and he would be very frustrated because his teacher wouldn't explain the homework to the students. As for parent involvement there was very few parents involved.I personally wasn't happy with the school.
