This school is crazy. There was once a kid that threw a glass bottle at a supervisor. Yes a GLASS Bottle. Luckily, it missed. Guess what? They don't even investigate who threw what or who did what. There was also some pairs of kids SELLING MARAJUANA to other students in candy and ceral in all kinds of stuff. Many fights occur at the school. Also many done by students such as sagging and cursing. The teachers are not all that bad, but if you make one mistake it is wrong. This is what one specific teacher does. So do not send your child to this school.
Very excellent school with great teachers. To those who say this school sucks or is "ghetto" school is what you make it. You slack off then your gonna have a bad experience. Do the work and actually apply yourself!
There is a certain 8th grade science teacher who is doing this school, these students, their parents & in general this community as a whole a big disservice by his blatant misuse of whatever knowlegde he seems to think he has. His method of teaching does nothing but teach these young adults why waste your time doing homework if you make one mistake your paper is worth 0. That's right ZERO. I had one child that was subjected to this lunatics warped mind and believe me that was enough. I spoke with the then Vice Principal let's call her Ms. Slaghubble (not her real name) as she sat there and justified his moronic teaching & grading method, she is as big of a whack job as he is, she NOW works at the High School, what a shame & disgrace to our children & their education that there people like these.
This is a generous rating in my opinion. From personal experience with some staff members I would have to say that the negative expressions of the other contributor is correct. . knowing what I know, I would not send my child to this school.
This school has the best teachers, and staff.
This school represents the general town attitude of a Rural Ghetto, 'this is what we have, if you like it, good, if you don't, too bad, because there is nothing else'. Among the teachers we count one that has stated that he was a homeless person and that he could care less about his students, others that are so busy that they do not have time to help their students. If you can avoid coming to this area, do so, for the benefit of your children. It is too late for us.
