Browns Valley Elementary School

I have been pleased with many aspects of Browns Valley School especially with the larger classes, the faculty care about the students and their progress. There is also lots of parent participation.

Few good teachers. Certainly not preparing these children for the future. Breeding sheep not leaders. The Principal the only bright spot here.

I am so sorry that we came to this school. On the internet it looks great. Good location. But so different inside. The kindergarten teachers treat the students with NO respect and run their classes like the military. They are always screaming at the children and shaming them. There is NO laughing in kindergarten and no room for creativity or flexibility. If you care about how your child is treated, avoid (kindergarten). We had better luck with a 3rd grade teacher.

I have been impressed the last 2 years I have volunteered at the school for 2 years now, and have been very impressed by the articulation between grades. Each grade clearly prepares the students for the next year and students surpass expectations. The teachers are great! I recommend it to everyone I meet.

My child has attended bv school since kindergarten, up until fourth grade, she did great, then had the same teacher for fourth and fifth....the teacher seemed overwhelmed and was often rude to the children..I am happy she is out of there....
