We feel very fortunate that both of our English speaking daughters have been able to thrive in such a unique and special environment. We do not speak French. Our daughters started LILA in kindergarten at the Tarzana campus, and they are now in the secondary program in Burbank. Not only have they learned fluent French, they are both doing very well academically and socially (as shown on standardized tests and report cards). The program is rigorous, but the class sizes are small, which helps each student get the attention needed. My daughters have been surrounded by amazing teachers that have managed to challenge them, as well as nurture their self esteem, and curiosity. They have also connected with a wonderful, diverse group of friends that have expanded their views. We absolutely love this school and couldn't be more proud.

LILA is a great school with a nice atmosphere where kids feel valued and supported. The students and teachers are very diverse due to the biligual aspect, English / French, of the school. Several campus are available depending of children age and location in LA.
