We tried private school for 3 years then made the switch and have never looked back. Calistoga is a great school district and the teachers really care and are over qualified. My kids love it, have lots of friends and there are many opportunities to do things other schools can't like a week in Yosemite for 6th grade camp.
This is a great little school. It teachers and staff work together to do all they can to make learning a lasting experience. There is always something new and exciting going on at this school. I believe ratings should also take into account areas where there is no testing, like school spirit, and hard work and desire to succeed.
