Leal Elementary provides real learning experience to kids. My son started here in 2nd grade and since then every teacher has been excellent. Not only the school but the district has several programs by which the parents are educated about almost everything that happens in the schools. I'm happy I moved my child to this school, after a rough year at his previous school

Leal Elementary has such a positive learning environment. Not only does Leal excel academically, but they also encourage good citizenship to their students. I have 2 children in this school and I wouldn't imagine taking them elsewhere. I am thoroughly impressed with the education that my children are getting at Leal.

Excellent school for parents and students who want to work hard and strive for academic excellence. This school is not for everyone. If you want to just drop off your child and expect magic, it will not happen. Involved parents who support the staffwill find that their children succeed. Grat friendly principal.

Leal has a very good academic and extracuricular programs. I personally observed a strong curriculum in math and a very strong curriculum in writing for my 4th grader in the last school year. The extracurriculars focus on the performing arts which is a fantastic way to develop their confidence and exposure to this art form. Also my daughter has had excellent teachers. Her 4th grade teacher was particularly inspiring for her. It was a very positive year of learning for her.

Leal elementary is a spectacular school in encouraging students to do their best through various awards and incentives. Their academic program, while rigrous, allows for students to pace themselves. The teachers are very competent and truly care for the students. The art and music program is 'top notch'. Discipline is enforced in the right way through incentives and with compassion. Highly recommended.

Leal is the best school in this area. We even have the highest PTA membership in the district. Our teachers, parents and especially our principal make it happen.

Wonderful school that challenges and educates children based on their abilities, not strictly by the CA standards. Terrific visual and performing arts program on a daily basis for a well-rounded child. Most of all, enthusiastic and energetic teachers are at every level.
