My daughter was advised to attend Fairview as a larger campus was very overwhelming. She has attended two years, never had problems and is doing very well academically. The school feels very comfortable to her and she looks forward to attending daily.
The staff is close knit with a team goal to help students. Jill Kortie is a real plus for the students and school.
The staff cares about the students
The staff and administration are very caring- The school provides a small school atmosphere-where the staff and administration have become extended family giving support and reward good choices which they may or may not have at home.
I think Fairview Is one of the best school's in Chico. I helps kids catch up and get back on there feet to get back to Pv or Chico high. It helps you get to school everyday because it's a lot of fun. In ATC you learn how to respect yourself and others and it helps you stay focused on your work. But I think that the most extreme thing on the campus is Focus On the Future. It shows you how to control yourself and it also teaches you that there is more out there than drugs and vilonce. It is a great program that helps the community out and it helps the kids in our community. I think it makes chico a better place bacuse there isn't many kid's out there willing to help. So I have to give it up for Karen Abel, thanks, for everything. -Lynnette
