Our family loves this school! Great community and family involvement, a school garden, a green approach, no-waste lunch program, high parent involvement and wonderful teachers are just a few of the highlights of this Open Structure program with hands-on integrated curriculum. Hooker Oak K-8th is truly the best!!!!!!!!!

A bright environment for learning. Dedicated teachers and parents. Plenty of spaces filled with vegetation and murals all over.
I teach there, my 3 kids attend, ad we love this school! Great families, a garden, a green approach, parent involvement and wonderful teachers make this school, with its 'Open Structure' program, the best!
I love the community of caring parents. My children have loved their teachers, and through an Open Structure approach have a curiosity for learning and knowledge.
Hooker Oak offers a variety of people, ideas, cultures and learning styles to be appreciated and valued. The key component is parent participation in the classroom!
Hooker Oak is a dynamic place with some great teachers. Parental involvement is huge.
My school has the best community of dedicated and caring parents.
Our school is filled with layers of community, through parent involvement in the classroom, and oustide the classroom with fund raising and other celebrations. The mentoring of the mulit-aged classroom promotes our community school feeling as well.
