My son is attending state preschool for the school year 2011-2012. He attends the morning class with Mrs. Villa as his teacher. She is AwEsOmE! I volunteer by choice 6 hrs a week. Only 3 hours a month is needed. And what can I say! She is a great teacher! I hear the principal came in at a much needed time for the school. He was previously at Otay Elementary & turned the school around. He (Mr. Velazco) received recognition by former Governor Arnold. I will not continue at this school (not my home school) and enrolling him in a charter but my daughter will attend preschool here for school year 2012-2013 if possible! Thank you Mrs. Villa your a wonderful teacher! (I'm just speaking for the Preschool for he is 4)

Well I am also a parent, i have four children, my two older kids attended Montgomery in the year 1999-2005. My two younger kids are still there and have been there since 2005. Allow me to say that our new principle could not have come at a better time. He came and improved our whole system, bringing new programs and new activities such as sports one of them being our soccer team which he himself is the coach, he hired better teachers which brought our scores up and for what? for the better of our children. Our principle is the best principle John J, Montgomery Elementary has had in years !

I am a parent of three kids that attend this school, we just got a brand new principal who we thought was to be as involved in our school as the previous one. We we're sooo wrong, needless to say I and other parents are very disappointed and wiss we had our previous school principal. We Miss You!
