I donot think the kids are supervised properly at recess and lunchtime. Also the staff are not receptive to kids with an IEP. Many do not want kids with disabilities at this school. The Principal is wonderful, If you ask him if he has a minute he always replies "I have lots of minutes" he is amazing and the glue that holds this school together. I hope he can change the attitudes of the gossiping staff regarding kids who need a little extra patience and compassion.

My oldest son, who is now a seventh grader attended Rosebank. I am very pleased with the teachers and the principal. My son left this school with outstanding grades and more self confidence. His teachers throughout the years pushed him to do his best, and now he has a 4.0 grade average. I now have a kindergartener attending and hope that he will have the same experience that his brother did! I was also part of the PTC and wouldn't change the way I feel about this school. The only thing that we need more of is parent involvement. You would be amazed at how the students respond to having the parents in the classrooms to help!

In regards to the person that wrote that this school had an awful staff. I have been involved with Rosebank for 5 years now and have gotten nothing but respect and a friendly welcome from all, ESPECIALLY the ladies in the front office. My opinion of this person is that they are the type of trouble making parents that feel that their children are nothing but complete angels when in fact THEY are the ones that are rude and unpleasant to deal with. WAKE UP!

Awful staff. They are rude and not pleasant to deal with at all, starting with the ladies in the front office. The principal leaves a lot to be desired as well.

There are some great teachers at this neighborhood school. The principal is a very nice man but is not strong enough in leading the teachers to create higher expectations from the children. Like the other reviewer, I hope things get better.

Rosebank is one of the older schools in the Chula Vista School District. The buildings may not be as new as others, but the teachers, staff and community make this a very special school. Teachers stay here, they are a part of the community and families really see and appreciate that.

I believe that Rosebank is a good school. All of the Teachers and staff are in unison when it comes to the children being number one at the school. I hope my grandkids go here for a long time

Rosebank's teachers, admin staff, principal and PTC are amazing. They work together to make sure the students come first. They are committed to seeing that every student achieves his/her personal best, they encourage parent involvement at any level you can give, and they always make time to answer questions and make suggestions on how to help your child succeed. My daughter is starting her 4th year at Rosebank, and I am so pleased with her progress and the never-ending support of the school staff.

Rosebank is not keeping upwith the times. Seven years ago it was more up to date than today. The principal is the type of man who will tell you what he thinks you want to hear and then talk behind your back. He does not promote unity and communication among the teachers and parents and the PTC (parent teacher club). The classrooms are in desperate need of new computers. The teachers and staff gossip about each other and are not united. I feel many teachers at this school has lost their passion for teaching. There are a few good teachers Mr. Gascon (!st grade) Mrs. Luke (3rd grade)
