I feel very fortunate to have found this school! The academics are sharp. The atmosphere is loving and caring. The safety is reliable. My daughter just completed Kindergarten, and I have committed to another full year.

Our family has 3 children at Page Private school in Costa Mesa. We and more importantly our children absolutely love it! We feel that Page has done an outstanding job of getting our children engaged in their own education. We can see a strong foundation being instilled in them. It shows in their writing skills and vocabulary. And not only are they doing so well they are hungry for knowledge and are excited about learning just as much as the teachers are passionate about teaching. Which as a parent I am so overjoyed. Our kids love and respect their teachers. We feel the skills both in education and socially that they are being taught will be useful throughout our children's lives. THANK YOU PAGE!

This school is a joke, do not send your child here. My child attended Page from K thru 2nd grade. It is basically babysitting w/ worksheets. The teachers are lazy and the principal is unresponsive to concerns. Finally moved my child to public school, where they had to catch her up in math. What a waste of money.

There is no way the school was worth the money. They use the same curriculum as the public schools. There is an unhealthy air of elitism around the place and some of the new facilities are nicer but some parts of the building still feel like you are in an industrial park.

My child currently attends page and the program is really grea. The teachers are very responive to questions and concerns from the parents. My child brings home projects that she does everyday and a report on what was done in class. I am very pleased with the school

I love this school. My son has been here for Preschool and Pre-K and we couldn't be happier. I think there is not much for parent involvement at the pre-k level however. That could be better.

When my child first attended, I was quite impressed. My opinion has decreased over the last two years. There seems to be more playing and less teaching. It doesn't seem like they cover everything that is taught at public school in a given year. The director does not take parental criticism easily. Doesn't seem like anything gets done. The computer class is just a class where the kids get to play non-educational games and surf the internet. I have pulled my child out and don't regret it.

My child attended preschool at this school and I was so horrified that she left after 2 months. For starters, the television was on far to often upon drop off and pick up. The classrooms were dark and sparsely decorated with artwork or toys. The creations she brought home were little more than colored in photo copies from a work book. This school does not fullfill the needs of young children.

Really great school with a lot of extracurricular activities--including computer classes for the little ones.

I can only review the Pre-K program as that is all my family and I have participted in. Pre-K is a definitely a Kindergarten program. It is academic yet still allows for social and developmental growth (may depend on teacher). The children are offered gymnastics, mad science, dance, and ball sports at an additional cost to the parent. These programs have not been as pleasing as they are not always consistent and contact between parent and coordinators is slim to none. Other programs offered in the classroom are Spanish and computers. Parental involvement seems to vary by class. Many parents are working parents and their children attend the before and after school program. All in all I have been pleased with my child's growth and development this year. We love Ms. Madelain!

Roch Couregges School located in Fountain Valley , CA provides an excellent rigerous academic program for students of all developmental needs. The GATE classes are taught by well qualified GATE credentialed teachers.

My child has been at Page for 6 years. Page has taught him structure, education, and most kids there are there to learn. He's very competative with grades and strives to acheive the highest level.

This school is a solid reminder that one must request written information confirming the a private school's curriculum, teacher credentials, and standardized test scores. This should be done prior to choosing a school AND periodically throughout the years, as significant changes are not parent-approved prior to their implementation.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
