Many students do not feel safe here. Teachers are underpaid, overworked, and classes are overcrowded. Reducing the issues to overprotective parents and gossip is overlooking the very real problems of too many students and not enough staff.
my childs school is awesome and she loves it so much that she hates when school is over!
My son went to this school and had no problems at all. I now work there and the staff are dedicated to the students, we have many different events that are ongoing throughout the year. Most of the hype about this school comes from over protective parents and gossip.
This school some parents say it is not the best school but it is not in the school or teachers wether your child learns or not it is in the child.
I was nervous about my child entering middle school, but Crescent Elk has great teachers and principals. My daughter is doing very well, better than fifth grade. She is in band, and her band teacher volunteers to teach a community children's choir as well. The school sponsors sports events and dances. Overall, Crescent Elk is doing a good job!
