LnL has resolved the issues in the latest post and is a wonderful school. Our daughter has gone through preschool and preK and is thriving. The staff is loving, warm and accepting. We are constantly amazed at the amount and quality of work she completes. We recommend this school to any family looking for a partner in raising educated, moral children.

My daughter has gone through this school from preschool through 8th grade. The first 6 years were great! Until Pastor George ( took over) the school. It has never been the same. He has taken a amazing school and turned it into an unhappy, misserable school. George has managed to fire more than half the staff that have been there for over 10 or more years. He has taken away the best thing about that school which was Mr. Fiske and demoted him after he has prored his heart into that school to make it what it was.Geroge came along an distroyd all it was. I will be removing my son who has also gone there for 6 years. I can no longer support this school. I feel it no longer has my kids in its best intrest. Good by LLCS thank you to all the teachers and staff that decated there lives to careing for all the kids they touched.

Light and Life has really helped mine and so many other families. If you are considering a private school you should at very least pay them a visit and see all of the wonderful things that go on there. I am so excited for my son to learn the Violin starting in Kindergarten next year! They have violin lessons (included with the tuition) for kindergarten and up, they also teach a bunch of other instruments. My kids feel loved, and that's what is truly important to me. As far as academics, they start teaching algebra in 6th grade! They teach physics in 8th grade! I love it here!

Our family is so blessed to be a part of the Light & Life community! Both our boys (Preschool and Kindergarten) have learned so much! The school cares about every family and what their unique circumstances are. Every child is loved, nurtured and educated by amazing teachers and staff. I feel confident that my children are challenged academically. It makes me very happy to know that Light & Life cares about my children's character and spiritual walk. I am thankful for the opportunity to send my boys to such an amazing school! And, I can't wait until they can participate in all the wonderful music, instruments and sports that this school has to offer! We love Light & Life Christian School!!

In regards to the previous post, I would not say that Kindergarten is not academic.... I think it depends on the teacher. Also, all schools are different in what they expect for each grade. Light and Life has made a lot of changes and not all for the good. There are still good teachers there, but the agenda of the school is to better the church.

After kindergarten last year, they started making lots of staff changes so I switched my son to Escondido Christian School, just down the road. Turns out that L&L's kindergarten program is not very academic, and he had to play catch-up all year.

We love Light and Life! My kids receive superior academic instructrion, creative music and art instruction, and fun sports experiences, all in a loving, encouraging environment. The faculty and staff have gone out of their way to challenge my advanced student and have worked just as diligently with my child who struggles. Light and Life has been such a blessing to our family!!!

I thought L&L escondido was a good school, based on strong christian and human values, the best place close to home to watch my child grow not only academically, but also spiritually...When the "conference" and the young pastor start fairing awesome teachears, some with more than 25 years seniority in the school; demote the caring, efficient principal with more than three decades of experience and start hiring new grads to replace experienced teachers. I withdrew my son .

My daughter went to pre-school here for 2 years and is now in the 2nd grade. Last year she was diagnoised wit ADD and needed medication. The entire staff from teachers to aides to the secretary were very supportive. They not only care about teaching your child they love all the children.
