This school should be avoided at all costs!!!! Vulgar students and rude staff. The curriculum is very poor and teaches nothing that my 2nd grader did not already know.
Wonderful students, many of whom come from difficult circumstances!
Alice Birney does a lot to serve the special and diverse population in its area. The campus is clean, off the main streets, safe, and well-maintained. There is an after school program as well as programs for second-language learners.
