I ATTEND THIS SCHOOL AND IT WAS GREAT THEN, MY DAUGHTER IS THERE NOW AND ITS EVEN BETTER. WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE CAMPUS YOU FEEL AT HOME. ALL THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. I LOVE HOW THERE IS A TEACHER OR THE PRINCIPAL ALWAYS IN THE FRONT AS THE CHILDREN ARE BEING DROPPED OFF GREETING THE PARENTS AND THE STUDENTS.

Locust Elementry School makes my daughters happy. There is alot of field trips because they want to make the children happy. My family loves locust they take there children there. We want to make the children happy.

What can I say? I love Locust! The kids there are unique and love to learn. The teachers are caring and focus on instruction. The families are involved and supportive. The principal is efficient, dedicated, and passionate about her school. It is definitely a positive place where learning takes place! The portable school site has been in Fontana for over 20 years and could use a facelift which would include a new playground. Please help our school!

Both of my sons have attended locust E.S. since they were in Pre and K. Before they attended my biece attended L.E.S since the first grade. The majority of the faculty @the schhool know my mother and I very well as they do most of the parents of the student attending the school and you cant help but to get a sense of family and community everytime you visit the campus. My mom has even gone so far on one or two occassions, to scold a couple of the younger faculty members for not wearing a sweater on a cold dsy and has brought a teacher breakfast knowing that the teacher isnt eating a proper breakfast on her way into work. Were are all family at Locust Elementary and unfortunately that is not something you can get at the majority of F.U.S.D.campuses.
