I am currently attending FVHS and I am having an amazing experience. Fountain Valley High School was the best choice I could make for a high school that was around my area. There are so many activities, clubs, AP classes and sports. Basically, getting involved at school is not difficult at all. Most of the teachers are very amiable, easy to approach and care for the students. I haven't had any problems with my teachers. As for the atmosphere and students, it is pretty average, since it IS a high school. Overall, I love FVHS and I wouldn't go anywhere else. (:
I'm currently a student here at FVHS, and I absolutely love it! There are so many opportunities for everyone. There is a wide selection of classes, AP courses, extracurriculars, sports, and clubs. Our ASB and BBN (Film & Production class) bring so much pride and spirit to our school, and our spirit weeks always have a lot of participation. The teachers here actually care about their students, and the coaches provide great encouragement. I'm an AP student and an athlete, and I'm definitely proud to call myself a Baron.
I'm the new student in FVHS. I have been there just four months but I love it . It's so great , good teachers , good friends. There are also have a lot of school's activities ,such as BBN , sports and I enjoy its . SO GOOD TO BEING THE STUDENT OF FVHS
people that dont go to fountain vall think that we have all thins and that but we dont were a hard working school thats just trys to improve
I currently attend FV, and I think it offers a lot of opportunities for the students. There are various courses/classes available to students that enable them to explore and learn about new things. There are also many AP classes available to those who wish to to take them and a lot of fun extracurricular activities, such as sports, the BBN, yearbook, clubs, etc. We are also very fortunate enough to take part in what we call 'Edison Week' each year, which is extremely fun. Furthermore, our ASB does a great job in doing the school assemblies and encouraging us to participate in things like Hurley's Walk The Walk Fashion show - which we won. FV also does extremely well with testing and had a 854 in the API scores (2008).
My son graduated last year and my daughter attends FVHS now. My son struggled through high school, and the teachers there did everything they could to help him earn the credits needed for graduation. This school and the teachers there are the best.
I went to FVHS for 3 years and I loved it. The teachers were more than willing to help with any problems a student may have had. The sports programs were great (the teams may not have all been the best but the experience was amazing.) And the clubs at the school were very active. If I could go back to High School and live it all over again, I most definitely would in a heartbeat!
I have both of my teens attending school here. Out of the three years that we have been here we have only had one teacher with questionable teaching practices. I'm impressed with the all of the staff from the front office to the classrooms. Kids are happy , I'm happy.
I just graduated from this school in 2008. It is an ethnically diverse school in a great area. The parents are very involved with extra curricular activities and so are the teachers.
i'm currently going to this school and i love everything about it! the teachers are awesome, and the students are no trouble makers. great environment.
