I'm so pleased with Irvington. My daughter is a bout to graduate from Irviington. That's the best school any parent should take their kids.

Irvington is a great high school. It has excellent teachers, strong staffs, and challenge academic programs. My child really has a good learning experience and a positive high school life at Irvington High.

This is a very good school. The school population is quite diverse and thus, the rankings mean something (unlike the other top rated Fremont HS where the community is extremely wealthy and the school population is not diverse). The negative reviews must be from disgruntled students who were not able to bend a teacher to their will

The teachers here are horrible. I am a junior here at IHS and i went to another public high school when i was a freshmen. I learned more there when i was in 9th grade, them in 10th and 11th grade here combined. The teachers here don't have enough experience and don't know how to teach. Junior year was tough, but most teachers didn't help when i asked for help. I regret even going to this school. Also, many of the lids here are spoiled and love to spread rumors and all groups in this school is completely segregated. the asains on one side, while the americans are on another. Same with the indians, hispanics, and african americans. I. toatlly. regret. going. here.

Administration is often biased and poor in their duties. Principles give no respect to students. Although some teachers are outstanding others are quite lacking. The school requires students to complete absurd projects that work toward making the school look better, yet serve no other purpose. The campus looks disgusting and is in need of a wash and paint job. I am an athlete and I don't expect special treatment, but I do not believe that athletes should be discriminated against either. Teachers from other schools believe that Irvington is truly a poor school. Just because a school is good on paper doesn't mean it is good to attend.

I love Irvington. I sometimes hear some students complain about Irvington being "boring," but these are usually the kids who think they're too cool to participate in clubs or school activities. Seriously, Irvington has won so many prestigious awards, and many of them were won by students, not faculty. Some teachers are OUTSTANDING, while others are...not so great. We're also an art magnet school and we're always looking for new things to bring into our community. Irvington is amazing.

Race matters... Faculty needs improvement and training on intercultural relations.

Irvington is a wonderful school if you are not a minority. Please do not send your children to this school if you are hispanic or african american you will eventually regret it!
