Kastner is said to be a really good school, however I find that the students are quite disrespectful when it comes to the other schools. When a group of their atheletes came to my school they bad-mouthed the students and teachers. I am fine about their school academics but they seriously need to start disiplining their students about being respectful.

I believe Kastner is a good rounded school. But just like any other school it has it ups and downs.I appreciate that some teachers actually care & offer labs after school for those in need of extra help. Then you have teachers who are also coaches (female) who are so involved w/ golf games that they are not well organized at all. Then you have a science teacher (male) who thinks he is some kind of master and is constantly punishing the whole class when only 1 student is the problem.I think teachers need 2 be retrained on how 2 deal w/students on a 1 to 1 basis.Do get frustrated when teachers do not update their website on class work to be done. This is the only way 4 a parent to track their child's work cuz not all kids tell their kids the truth about what work needs 2 be done.

Ok im an 8th grader this year and Kastner is great. The teachers are great they offer homework labs if students need help. Of course are sports teams are the best but they do treat academics first. For example, every week we have to get a progress report signed by all of our teachers to see if we are keeping up with our grades. I would totally recommend u send ur child here. :)

As a male student i have seen first hand about this school i am a guy who goes to this school and highly rates it academicly and athleticly, we have achieved some of the highest test scores for our area and have had many championship teams listed below,8th grade girls volleyball, 8th grade girls socccer, 8th grade boys golf, 7th grade girls volleyball(awsome people on the team) 8th grade boys soccer, 7th grade football, 7th grade basketball, 7th grade basketball, and 8th grade basketball, there are also many programs to help with the transtion to the new school and to get people accustomed to the diffrences of intermidete school life like a school led program called WEB that hold orientation before school starts for new students, over all a great school

Both of my sons went to this school. When comparing this school to others, it does rate very high. What I have found as a parent is, many of the faculty, support, and administration are rude when parents show up on an individual basis. This is especially true when dealing with the Office Staff. This school has above average performance on test results as their geographical location is afluent with respect to their performance. If you are considering this school, as a concerned parent ...you will be disappointed. Both of my sons expectations were definately not met.

Im a student at Kasner and everything is satisfactory until you meet the teachers. Even if you are a good student and behave you and the whole class will be blamed if someone talks. And I have found this in all teachers. Plus most students at the school are out of control but not as bad as last year.

I go to Kastner and I must say that the teachers here are simply amazing! However, many students there are rude, selfish, ignorant, etc. The school also focuses way to much attention on sports, sometimes putting it before academics.
