The teachers at Richman School provide challenging classwork and homework. There are also many programs and opportunities for students to receive support in meeting their goals. I enjoy visiting Richman and coming to family involvement nights, parent coffees, and school events. Everyone is warm and it feels like a big family.
Richman teachers and students are probably the hardest working in the district. All teachers are aligned, all teachers want the very best for the families that attend. They have shown tremendous growth and can actually be considered a model school when looking at schools that make consistant progress...Test scores should not be the only factor when looking at a school...I wouldn't ever consider pulling my child from a place where they feel successful and treated with respect. I do not doubt that my child is getting a fantastic education...
The quality of Richmans programs are excellent. They have music, art, sports and otherextracurricular activites avalilable. They have a high level of parent involvement.
This is a school that is a serious disaster. If you want to transfer your child out of this school good luck. No other schools seem to be willing to take students from this area
Richman Elementary provides a quality educational program that grows better every year. With its 167 point gains in API over the past 5 years, Richman continues to maintain high expectations for every child. Now, with the addition of its Comprehensive School Reform grant, children, teachers, administrators, and parents will see even greater gains. You can rest assured that your child will be successful at Richman Elementary School provided he/she accepts their role to be an active learner.
I think Richman is a great place to be, they have pre-school through 6 grade. Lunch is free, they have an excellent after school program for their students that runs until pm, and teachers are great. They also offer extra help after school and and very nice!
