I have one child who is in the 9th grade and attends this school. I could not be happier with his transformation. He was struggling in public school and we were doing what we could to try get the teachers to help us help him. We put him here and if there is a problem with his work we know it and our given advice on what we can do to help him. We get emails and phone calls to help him stay on track. His grades have jumped and he is happy and confidant. We have a child almost school age that will be attending HCS as well, it is a financial commitment but to put my children in an environment where Christ is put in the classroom is worth the commitment.

I rate this school a 5. I was able to attend HCS in 9th grade before having to transfer to a local public high school due to financial hardship my parents encountered. That one year at HCS helped me to develop great study habits, and the quality of education there was superior to that of the public high school. The smaller classes at HCS enabled the students to forge a close-knit friendship with one another, and the faith-based program of study taught -- among other valuable things -- compassion and acceptance of everyone. I really enjoyed my time at HCS and am sorry I was not able to finish out my high school education there; although, my experience at HCS enabled me to graduate a year early from the public high school. Last year, my husband and I enrolled our daughter at HCS for preschool. She is in Kindergarten this year, and we couldn't be more pleased with her education and progress. People are amazed at how much she knows for her age. The teachers at HCS are a true blessing, and the parental involvement is wonderful. We plan on keeping our daughter at HCS until she graduates from high school. Maybe someday our grandchildren will attend HCS as well. GREAT SCHOOL & STAFF

For $500 a month I expect more from this school. The teachers have this psychiatrist that they will make you send your child to (for a fee) if he/she has a little trouble grasping information, or if they can't look you in the face when spoken to, or stay interested enough to not yawn during class, or sit still,etc.etc. This is their answer to cover themselves for inadequate teaching. The lower grades are good but the kids and parents in the upper grades are nothing but drama. The kids are the same 10 or so kids since K, or 1st grade, so the kids don't attain any social skills that are necessary to succeed in today's job force. No resources for university prep, and extracurricular activities like the local High School has. I have had both my kids here since pre school, not sure I want to stay another year.

This school used to be decent, now it is a joke!! Academics are not up to standards and most of the graduates only go on to a Junior College instead of a Univeristy. Too many mean kids at this school! I guess you could say they are clone to their parents. Kids treat each other horribly and talk filthy. Teachers and other staff have heard the talk and do nothing about it! If you are not a jock at this school you are a nobody in staff's eyes! Alot of gossip, watch out for office staff , athletics staff, and stay at home moms with nothing else going on! Major disappointment!! Soo glad I took my kids out of this bad Christian School! It's funny how no negative comments have ever been saved for a review because the school does not want you to know the real truth! Save your money for college, that is where it will matter in the long run!

This is a great school. The school provides strong Christian leaders and coaches. The athletic programs are second to none in the small school environment. Very expensive, but I will spend any amount to keep my kids safe and have them get a great Christian education. Some of the previous posters want the school to raise their kids for them, that is not HCS job. No school is perfect, but this school hits most of the marks for my three kids. In comparison to any other private schools in the High Desert area, HCS is #1. Great School!

This school seems to show spiritual decline. A few years ago, everthing was great, but now, the school's priorities seem to be all askew. Way too much emphasis on athletics, and they're not even that good. There needs to be more emphasis on talants that will take these students somewhere in life. Music for example. Just anything that will get students experience in different trades.

My son is in kindergarten here, and he loves it. The teachers are loving & friendly. He has learned so much, he is happy at the end of the school day and proud of himself.

I have two boys. I am a stay at home and a very hands on mom. I was faced with a public or private conflict, I asked many questions and spent time at some schools. My decision was easy, the minute I stepped on the grounds of Hesperia Christian School, I was sold. The personnel in the office including Principal and Administrater were so informative. The school met all my needs as far as my childrens education. I want my children to attend college. Hesperia Christian School is the right choice for our family. The Education staff has been great. My 2nd grader is doing great, Thanks to some very gifted Teachers. My pre-schooler is also on his way to a great education. Thank -You Hesperia Christian School for being the best place to educate my boys.

I feel the quality of academic programs is fair. Extracurricular activities are ok but costly, and the level of parent involvement is pretty good, I truly enjoy the teachings of christian values, I think that has been important to my kids. This school can be very expensive!

I chose this school over three other Christian schools in the area. I love the Christian atmosphere and the tenderness by which some of the staff show my daughters. I was impressed by the curricula and the athletic program too.
