This is a great academic school. The environment is very clean and friendly. The classes are are very fun, yet educational.

This school doesn't deal with or take bullying seriously, its as if the principle and teachers are afraid of the students and ignore the issues.

Not a good school, my son is constantly harassed both physically and verbally and nothing is ever done about it. I have gone to the office on numerous occasions, given them the names of the kids who are responsible and i never see a change. In the end my son is the one who is punished, when he has done nothing wrong but try to protect himself and stay out of the way.

Mesa view is pretty cool, the teachers are good, all but the old ones. the old ones are always grumpy though. and i don't really understand why there are a few people complaining about other kids who swear and use inappropriate language and speech; it's going to happen anywhere and everywhere, there's no way to avoid it. Mesa View is a great school.

I currently go to Mesa, and overall, it's a good school. I think they focus too much on the 'popular kids'. These are the students who get first pick on evrything, from staying in at break to help teachers, to getting awards. I'm in the gate program, have only 1 B, rest A's, but I rarely get oppurtunities to help out.

I attended Mesa, and have had 3 children attend. It is a good school, that offers multiple opportunities for learning and afterschool activities. Any issues at Mesa are the same ones that plague other middle schools, and those boil down to parenting. Ms. Olson tries to hold students and parents to a high standard of behavior and achievement. However, she deals with parents who: *Bring small children to adult-oriented evenings, and let them run up and down the bleacher stairs during the presentation. *Talk openly and loudly on cell phones during the presentation. *Refuse to obey traffic safety and bring their child late. *Justify their child's poor behavior and question the school/teacher instead of the school. As for the swearing and mean kids- yes it is true. Parents, step up- it's up to us to make this school great for our kids!
