This school is the worst one my son has ever attended. The teachers are very unprofessional and mentally abusive to the kids. This school needs to be reviewed in many ways and possibly investigated. My son took a Spanish class and could not finish it due to not 1, but 2 teachers did not have any credentials to teach Spanish; ironically he was still graded on the class. My son gets straight a's, but most all of his skills are taught at home. Save yourself suffering and avoid this school.

This school does not have the greatest teachers, staff or faculty. I am thankful I transferred to Corvallis.

Hmm, you must not have checked their API scores lately. Or realize that the district can only do with what the state gives them.

i went to this school and don't get me wrong it's a good school but i think that the school is a joke compared to the other schools in the district. And the district needs to put more money into it because those kids have a lot of potential and the district isn't giving them anything to show for it

My daughter and son both attended this school. I found the teachers dull, limited in their abilities and overly concerned with busy work rather than true learning. If I had any other alternative financially, I would have taken it. I'm so glad I don't have to suffer through this substandard excuse for an education anymore.

Hutchinson is a fine school. The leadership of Hutchinson needs to get a tighter grip on the kids as they have become disrespectful to authority in the past few years (as witnessed in assemblies). Also, safety has been an issue for my child on two different occasions. There are some fine teachers at Hutchinson. They are educated and committed to the children. Dr. Whitney is phenomenal. However, more support should be provided for GATE and academic pentathlon. The music program is solid and improving. I feel that the academic and arts programs whould be treated as the most exalted and important activities at the school ... causing the students to want to participate more.
