This school is the best! The staff is dedicated and hard working. They work long hours to insure that every child is able to succeed. How lucky we are to live in a town with such a fantastic and nurturing learning environment..

I have to say although there are some good teachers i feel that they have their hands tied behind their backs do to very poor curriculum, student to teacher ratios in the higher 20's and although the office staff is very friendly i feel their concern of children safety leaves some much needed room for improvement. not to profile or sound mean but i don't like the idea that the kids get very little one on one time with the teachers due to high numbers of classmates and the fact that a high percentage of student don't speak English!

It is no wonder we are getting so much school budget cuts. I wonder if these kids are learning anything. Lazy teachers no parent involvement. Awful Awful Looking to move elsewhere because of the totally outdated approach to teaching..

The staff and teachers at Lkprt Elem. work as a team to create a very positive learning environment. Very few 'duds' among teaching staff in this low income area. Admin. is absolutely the best on the planet, resourceful, responsive, attentive and proactive both at principal and defacto vice principal levels. I've seen difficult issues confronted in a head-on no-nonsense but friendly style. SFA Curriculum offers the best of all worlds; gifted kids have a chance to thrive and struggling kids are not 'left behind.'
