This community is very small and takes great pride in the academics and sport programs. I am very thankful my daughter attend the school there and was coached to success from a great group of teachers in AVID. Thanks to them My daughter has a chance to go to one of the best schools in the nation. The AVID program has also been blessed one of the students to get a $250,00.00 dollar scholarship from the DELL and Gates award only awarded to a few special students. All in all they had over 1 million dollars worth of scholarships for a tiny school like that is un heard of. It received the most in Tulare County thanks to the Schiros that teach there. They also have a great sports program and constantly rank in the top of the valley in Baseball, Basketball and Football.

Lindsay High has an extremely wide range in academics, which makes it hard to judge by test scores. It has a high Migrant population that is well supported but struggling. At the same time, higher achieving students are given the best education available. In academic contests, the top students at Lindsay High consistently outscore the bigger schools. When I went on to college, the science classes there seemed like a big review while the rest of the class was struggling. The college had a policy to only allow tutors who had completed the course but the professor asked that they make an exception as Lindsay High had given me a good grasp on the subject and there weren't enough qualified tutors for the subject.

I'm a former student at Lindsay High School and I can honestly say that this school has changed my life for the better. This school has thought me many lessons that could never be taught from a textbook, a lecture, or a worksheet. This school prides itself on a strong community and when a student is there, he or she truly feels like welcomed and at home. I also will mention that this school has the best music program you will ever find in a High School, with teachers that will forever impact the lives of their students. I should know. I am one. In addition, this school has spent millions of dollars in renovating and remodeling their classrooms, which was a compliant that many had when i was attending there. Never let anyone say that LHS is a bad school. This would be a lie.

This school has to spread its money to all the sports, not just on basketball! It needs to give the students a bit more independence. They need teachers that need to respect the culture of the minorities that attend that school.

Great teachers such as Mr. Schiro, Mrs. Schiro, Mr. Piirman, Mr. Coles, and others, all of whom really care about the students.

Lindsay High School is currently in very bad shape. This school needs funding to mix some of the major problems such as; fixing roofs on classrooms, and fixing doors to make sure they all open. This school has great teachers and wonderful counselors.

Lindsay High school is a very small school. It has one of the best teachers that I personally had. Young, energetic and a great economics teacher who motivates the students in having a better understanding in the way our economic system runs. It also has Maybe the strongest kids in the area, but have a very old fashion way in how their weight lifting program is tought. It is very dangerous for the students and it has not changed for a very long time. Funding for their sports should more evenly spread out for every sport team of the year. Soccer should get their own field because it makes it more dangerous for the football players that play in actual mud not grass towards the end of the season, specially if play offs are accomplished. It also has a great principal that is a very nice person with his vice principal that enjoys helping kids and does not look foward in suspending students Like the previous vice that was there. Great councelors speacially Flemate who helps out hispanic kids who have trouble in english. Munter very smart and helpfull that will find time to help a student. More funding can make this school one of the best in the state.
