This school is a hidden gem. Look at the data. They had the highest Geometry scores in the entire school district! In all of LAUSD! That's first out of over 175 middle and high schools. That's amazing!

Nightingale Middle School has a strong approach toward academics, sportsmanship and community involvement. My time at Nightingale helped me to do well in high school and later at UCLA. I was involved in MESA, UCAP, SRLA, the Football Carnival, the 5k, the annual Track meet and the amazing music program. Teachers at Nightingale really care about us. I am now one year away from graduating from UCLA and I believe the root of my success is based on my wonderful experiences at Nightingale Middle School. Nightingale has many, many clubs and organizations that students have available to them. Also, many teachers stay after school to assist students. I feel that any student who attends Nightingale will find a pathway to success.

This school is where a lot of students get more steps closer to their destination of success. A group of students won first and second place in the regional Science Bowl Competition at CSULA TWO TIMES IN A ROW! A female student went to the inauguration of Barack Obama! That's how great this school is!

At Nightingale there are a bunch of programs that can help students in the future and in college and high school. There is MESA, Inside Out, Model U.N. for students at this school the dean works really hard and so does the teachers. To me this is one of the best school I've been to. It takes great effort to take time out of their hectic work days and and we do it the Nightingalehelp students in in school and after school activities. Student's test scores are low because some the students don't have a motivation to do better. Their expectation are high and most of us do well we do our best here at Nightingale Way.

My child's teachers this past year were ok, however, I believe more expectations should be required of them.
