My daughter is going to Spangler since KG. The teachers are really great. They are so dynamic, dedicated and smart. After talking to them, felt like this is the place where my daughter has to be.
My son has gone to Spangler since Kinder. With Maria del Rio as principal, And she is truly the best!! They don't come any better!! My son is happy, smart (in the GATE program) and vary well adjusted. The teachers are wonderfull and vary imaginative in their teaching styles. I can't imagine my son going to any other school!!!
Hi I'm so happy with this School, I have four daughters and sincerely my kids is so happy. The Principal, Teachers and all Staff are highly skilled. All is working hard. Is a wonderfull Family. I'm Volunteer and I like work with all the Staff. The kids have Student Store, Programs about DARE, Programs the Tutoring, Homework Club, Music, Programs about the Second Language, Workshops, etc. Really for the Kids is the Best School.
The teachers and staff at this school do an execellent job with the children that attend this school. I am very happy with the education my son received from this school.
There is a strong commitment at Spangler to providing a quality education. The school has raised their test scores from previously lower levels, and was recently declared a California Distinguished School. Students and parents are encouraged to participate. Classes rotate in helping out in the cafeteria, and there are occasional door prizes. The playground is well-maintained. Every student has lunch with the principal at least once. Good behavior is rewarded with 'Spangler dollars', which students can periodically use to purchase toys etc. Teachers are genuinely interested in the children.
My son and daughter both attended Spangler. I was very impressed with the kindergarten program, I found the teacher, Mrs. Singleton to be an excellent teacher who was very willing to speak with parents. The first grade program was a wonderful follow up, and Mrs. Starr managed a varied and demanding class in 2004/05. Although I think highly of the intermediate teachers, I felt the overall curriculum lacked organization and did not prepare the students for entry into middle school. Overall, it is a distiguished school for a reason.
A peaceful place for children to go to. Approachable staff.
I love this school. My Mother, Myself and Brother, and our two children have all gone here. Staff and Academics are excellent.
This school is doing really great in our kids education.I Volunteer here and feel all staff is working like a family I feel happy I am a part of this family.Reading specialist worked hard with our son he is doing great now.I think Spangler is a best school in district.
Spangler is a great school and the teachers and staff work very hard to make it a clean, safe environment to learn in. The educational programs at Spangler are detailed and well thought out as is the path taken to plan and execute the annual plan. Parental involvement could be better and the staff and PTA work hard to make sure that parents that want to get involved with a child's education have many opportunities to do so. Spangler is a forward thinking school and as such is always looking to improve the quality of education.
