This is a good school, with good teachers. Principal Winters is very dedicated to the school and students, and my son is doing well there. I would recommend this school.

I have been a teacher for 17 years. Two years ago, due to cuts in the budget, my math lab position was cut at Flory Academy of Sciences and Technology. Because of my math background, I was transferred to Mesa Verde Middle School. I am thrilled to say the move has been wonderful with great students. However, what makes the school so special is the level of teachers and there dedication here. I have never seen a middle school setting where teachers work so closely and warmly together. Our staff meetings concentrate on one thing: how to meet EVERY one of our students' needs.

My son is doing much better at this school, other than the on he use to attend before he came to mesa. All his teachers are awsome and very supportive, also the staff in the office including the principal mike winters are super awsome. I would recommed any parent to send their child or children to Mesa Verde Middle School.... School Rocks.

The Arts program at Mesa is great. The theater program has a waiting list to get in and the band just keeps winning awards!!!!

My son likes all his intructors but finds the honor classes boring and the lessons to be redundant. We are now considering home schooling.

I am extremely pleased with the Special Ed. Dep't. at Mesa Verde. All of the teachers and team members who are trying to help my twins have done an excellent job in making accomodations for them. They have gone out of their way to make sure that assignments are understood and written down in their agenda books. I've even been called by a teacher personally to talk to me about an assignment that was a week late. Needless to say, my daughter finished it that night! It is a great policy to send a group of books home with the student at the beginning of the year, as well as keeping a copy for class.

Great Teachers, caring and fun staff. My child was advanced and in 8th didn't feel challenged enough. These three years of middle school go by very fast. Volunteer so you can enjoy them.

Lots of great programs for struggling students and advanced students. My son is taking geometry as an 8th grader. He loves the challenge!
