I have a son in kindergarden and his teacher is caring strict but fair. He has learned so much in the few months his attended her class. We moved to moreno after school had started from another school. Time will tell as my son keeps moving up through grades to judge this school. Mom of 5 boys.
This is such a great school. The teachers communicate well with parents I really feel like we are working together as a team to help my child succeed. I can't wait for my daughter to start here next year. My son has had a very positive experience. The principal is new this year but he is doing a great job. I get information all the time regarding ways I can help school or events. I can't say enough positive things about this school.
Lasselle has helped my children accomplish selfworth in themselves. The teacher prepare them for what the next year will bring and puts them at relaxed and ready to start the next year. The staff of the school shows a great amount of dedication and value in the school. My children come home with a new fact to tell me everyday after school and they talk with joy in there face.
Hi everyone I wanted to give a 5 rating to Lasselle for beeing a great school.I highly recomend this school to everyone. All the staff are great, my son loves this school and his Teacher Mrs. Cooper.Thank you Mrs. Cooper for giving my son Ponciano more confidence.I know that my son will succeed at Lasselle.
My son is just completing his first year at Lasselle. He loves his teacher, the music teacher and the librarian. Lasselle just made the Distinguished School list for this year. Congratulations! I'm very happy about his year here and encouraged about the next. The PTO needs help in communicating with parents, but that is the only room for improvement that I see. Mrs. Jones and the front office are very well in tune with eachother. Very kind. I hope they get a lot of parental support in the coming years.
My kids love this school. Mr. Jackson has given my daughter Kristie more confidence. Thanks! Everyone in the front office is great with the students and parents!
After reading the previous review I was left, to say the least, sickened to my stomach. As someone who volunteers regularly with all school functions and with a 3rd grader and kindergartner currently attending, I feel confident in knowing that my children are receiving a top notch education. The staff at Lasselle Elementary have worked wonders for kids and make no exception when it comes to the value of education. I have seen good things from staff and administration and I know that my children will succeed because of the wonderful people at Lasselle. From the first day to school to dances, to movie nights, to storytelling nights, and to the last day of school, Lasselle Elementary commits to excellence in all aspects of a child's school experience.
This school is not for every child. Here are some of the complaints from my children, grades 2-4, about this school: exceptionally limited in-school sports; low-quality sports equipment. This school lacks adequate direction and oversight and could use some administrative guidance from outside the school. Our encounter leaves us to believe they've never dealt with students before this school's opening. It is utterly annoying.
