I have read the reviews here and the low numbers seem to come from those who are not educated or students who probably don't know any better. I am a parent here and a teacher in another district. Everyone I speak to there is helpful and it seems like the teachers care about the students. I saw a remark about amount of homework. HOMEWORK is not a baby sitter. Homework should only take about an hour at most. Homework should only reinforce the learned skills. So far a very good school.
The staff and faculty of Madison Middle School strives to improve student learning so all students achieve high academic standards. To reach this goal, Madison s highest instructional priorities are: *to improve reading, writing and literacy skills across all grade levels *to improve skills in mathematics across all grade levels *to bring second language learners to English proficiency *to assist in the self-discovery of talents, skills and competencies in performing arts, technology, physical fitness and creative expression *to deliver focused professional development as the key to improving classroom practices and supporting the goal to moving all students to proficiencies. We strive to accomplish these goals together in a welcoming, supportive climate for our students, staff and parent partners.
My child goes there n there hasnt been any problems
I'm a former student of this school and I didn't really like it, I mean the school was somewhat fun, and there were a lot of memories, but it wasn't a trip to Disneyland either. The kids were mean, the staff wasn't very friendly, and we weren't really learning anything productively. A bit below average.
The children are learning nothing from this school. They don't give enough homework to the students. Madison Middle School needs improvement in all areas, badly.. It shows in the rate. They earned their 3 help them
I think the magnet program is good. Safety is an issue here though
well this is the best school ever i had alot of memorys there i miss the school
I was a former student at this school and about the dangers of this school for me there were none. And the teachers are great.
The Magnet Program is great because it prepares students for a Magnet HS program which, eventually, prepares students for college and higher educaitonal achievements.
This school is not so great in the regular program, but I have come to find that the Cadet Corps and Magnet program are a great opportunity for our children and will definatley help them for their future life.
