My nephew came over to live with me in the bay area and as a high school counselor at the high school that he is now attending, I reviewed his schedule to coordinate his classes. I noticed that there were a number of discrepancies regarding course placement. His classes were out of sequence and he was being moved along his classes even though he struggled in the subject. He was also deficient in one semester of English and I was told that he was re-taking the course utilizing an online program called E2020. I have never heard of this program and as I researched it, I found out that the University system has not approved it as an online college prep course. So he was making up an English class that the University system was not going to recognize. What is going on at this school...Parents, question the schools' administrators.

OHS is a great school. Most of the teachers are very caring and truly want to help the students succeed. Ms. Medina has done a wonderful job encouraging her staff to encourage their students.

This a good school with good people. It has teachers that actually care of helping you to succeed in the future. It offers good Honor/AP classes but lacks parent involvement. Overall its a good school.
