Pretty Good excepts needs to be more challenging. Needs get that California Distinguished School to have a higher rating. Also probably needs that IB program, so don't send your kids if you want them to be challenged. Only good if you want them to have a good class rank and want colleges to see your kid or child stand out. Half of the kids in the classes don't study and too many class distractions, but overall nice. Too many students don't do well.

I believe that the teachers at Oroville High School are exceptional and go above and beyond to make sure their students succede. Furthermore, the majority of the students are respectful and care about their education and future. However, the students who do not cooperate with their teachers make it difficult for the students who are trying hard to get everything they deserve from their education. Overall, I really love this school.

Upon transferring to OHS... the school allowed my child to continue with a physiology class not offered at OHS. It was extra work for the generous staff who supervised and graded her progress. Plenty of AP classes with great teachers are offered. Gang activity is a real detractor.
