I would highly advise that you find another choice. This school is very disorganized and lacks a meaningful disciplinary policy. My child went there in - 2006-2007 and I got reports of much disrespct and rebellion twords teachers and students. The staff either cannot or will not enforce discipline. I have no doubt that the staff really does care about the students, but this does not make up for the lack of order and respect, and bad attitudes on the part of the students, that seem to prevail here.
This school is very siorganized and there is not much a a disciplinary policy. It is true that a student with relatively good behavior can benefit form going here but students with disciplilnary problems are not held accountable. The teachers do seem to care for the students butr the are overworked and understaffed. Perhaps this school would be better if the reduced thier size or eliminated the jr. high.
I am an angry ex-staffer who was quite shocked at the chaotic and out of control environment of this school. There was no disciplinary policy to speak of. I could not even get a kid out of the classroom for disicpline because the administrators were off teaching other classes instead of being in their offices. They are way over expended and understaffed. The kids were often disrespectful and lied constantly. If a student lied, the administratorstook their word instead of the staff memeber in charge. The aministrators kept giving the students 'grace periods' for bad behavior becduase they could not control there. Not everything that happens here is bad, but there are better schools for you money.
I was there in the eigth grade during the 2005 to 2006 school year and it was really bad. The kids were out of control and disrepected the teachers alot. They lied constantly and were mean. I think the teachers tried their best but the kids just kept getting way with things. I don't know why people give this school a good rating. Maybe they work there.
This school is not very good for the upper grades. The adminstration does not seem to have a firm and consistent disciplinary policy. It tends to be a very chaotic atmospher in the classrooms. But the teachers do thier best and seem to really care about the students,
The academic level of achievement of this school in my eyes has been superb. Where I have been impressed, is to see the influence the teachers and staff have had on the children. Over the years I have noticed a high percentage of children coming out of the school that not only have self confidence and a winner s mentality, but feel they have a purpose for their life, a purpose that God will lead them into. My son who has attended since kindergarten will be graduating this year. I have a great deal of honor and respect for this school.
I attended Living Way (K-8). I grew spiritually and academically. They have great, caring teachers. Thank you Living Way!
The school is not new at all. They have been operating for more than 25 years. They are an accredited school with the state of California and ACSI (Christian Education) for grades K-8th. Great School, loving teachers.
Yes, the school is a little unorganized but the caring teachers far make up for that .
Wonderful teachers and staff. I love how the teachers are so dedicated to the children and ensure the parents are involved academically and spiritually for the children.
