Unfortunately, I am not impressed with this school. The teachers are very nice and polite. The office staff leaves a lot to be desired. They are rude and unresponsive. This must generate from the top, because the principal never returns phone calls and does not have the time of day for her parents. Too bad with this economy that private school is not an option.
So far, I think this school has exceeded my expectations. My son is loving his Dual Immersion language program. His teacher is strict but sweet. Gets a decent amount of Homework for the week. They have a lot of meetings to help parents out and even free supervision of kids while parents participate in different programs the school offers.
I think Washington School is a great school. I think the staff and faculty are well trained and friendly. I love being a part of the pta.
I think washington school, pushes things under the rug and does not handle matters the way they should, it is a horrible school and I took my children out to attend private school.
I have 3 children that go to Washington and I've been very pleased with the teachers as well as the academics. Washington teachers seem to care about there students.
I am very proud of Washington Elem. school especially the emphesis they have put on the dance and choir group. My son looks forward to go to school every day. He enjoys all the interesting subjects and the teachers ability to keep him focused and learning....
My daughters attended Washington Elem. and have now graduated from a district in central California. Their are many programs not available in other districts that allow thestudents to work together at different age groups. The young authors convention, science fair, and school play are all wonderful and important educational events.
My daughter has been going to Washington since she was in kindergarten and I have been very pleased with her experiences there. The teachers are all first rate, as well as the principal. This year they are the only school in the Riverside Unified School District to win the Blue Ribbon award. This is a very honorable distinction and this quality school is very deserving of its award.
