My son thrives here! We have been in 3 districts and 3 different schools, this one is by far the best. Some might say the classes are large but the children still get the attention they need. We moved in the middle of the school year and the teacher has worked with us to ensure my son is on te same page as the other students in his class. I also love how much the families are involved with the school. Feels like a small town school with the big city resources, it is the best of both worlds! :-)

Just moved to the Regency Park Community and this is the initial month of my child attending this elementary school. First impression of the school is that it is fairly new and the classrom size would be quite small. Classrooms are about 28 students per teacher which I find to be too much. The school seems to be overcrowded and in the mornings the children need to walk around in line formation and walk circles on the playground until the bell rings. Looks like a prison for children. CST scores for 2011 have dropped significantly for 2011 which makes the school less favorable. This school has many students from the apartment complex in Regency Park which I have been told takes Section 8. If I would have known about this school prior to moving to North Natomas, I would have kept renting in some of the better school districts such as Rocklin, Roseville, Folsom, and Elk Grove. Too early to say the quality of the teachers, principal, and parent involvement. School needs to close playground after-school hours to prevent vandalism. I will write a follow-up review at the end of the school year.

This school strives to provide students with the lastest technology. Teachers work hard to provide project based lessons that inspire students to make connections between their school environment and the 'real' world.
