My son's experience at Fiesta Gardens has been wonderful! Even though there are 490+ students, I always felt that the entire staff was looking out for his well-being. I was routinely told about things that had happened at school from teachers who hadn't even had him as a student. The teaching staff works together to provide the best education for all students. Under the pricipal's strong leadership, I think the staff is moving in the right direction. While the upper grades have larger class sizes, I do not feel that either of my kids' teachers are at all "mechanical or sarcarstic". They care deeply about the job they do and it shows.

I think this school is excellent. I have a 3rd grader who loves the school and the teachers. She understands and speaks Spanish with no help from home because we only speak English.I would recommend this school to everyone. I am very satisfied with the teachers and staff at Fiesta Gardens!!

Overall a great school that feels like a true community. Teachers at the lower elementary grades (K, 1st) are great, but higher grades are weaker. I've heard 5th grade teachers are awesome, but have no personal experience. The school has a VERY diverse population and many of the incoming students have little or no preschool experience. The low API score of the school reflects that. Teaching can be a little mechanical and uninspired, especially in math and science, however kids are truly bilingual by the time they graduate. School desperately lacks money and there are no after school enrichment activities offered. Parental involvement is very lopsided, with 10% of the parents (usually the non-minority ones) doing 90% of the volunteering

I have great respect for the teachers and principal at this school. The do an excellent job of putting out well rounded, kind children. I have had 2 children graduate from this program, both bilingual, both good students throughout middle and high school and both remain very close friends with friends from their FGIS class, all caring, good kids.

Amazing teachers and staff, great parent involvement, our school is like a private school with the energy of a co-op school.

My first year here, and I am already sold. What an incredible dual-language program, promoting bi-literacy in Spanish and English, and helping its bright and brilliant students reach new heights! Teachers, staff, and especially administration are dedicated and passionate; it makes all the difference.

Because it is multi-cultural. Because the teachers are great. Because parents and teachers have stong bonds.

Fiesta Gardens has an amazing parent volunteer community who strive to help the teachers and staff provide the kids with the best education possible. Our principal is the best! She has actually learned ALL 470+ kids names! And cares deeply about each child's education. We love Fiesta Gardens dedicated educators, staff, parents, and kids! It takes a village after all!
