Bahia Vista is the hidden jewel of the San Rafael City Schools! It is a ' No Excuse' University school which promotes the fact that the students are intelligent, worthy and are capable of receiving a college education in their future. The parents, teachers and staff at large, are a united and motivated group who believes in the students and works diligently to ensure their success.Test scores continue to rise and in spite of severe budget cuts, Bahia Vista moves forward.
I visited Bahia Vista on February 1, 2008. This is one of the more excellent elementary schools I have had the pleasure of learning about in northern California. It is my opinion that Bahia Vista Elementary is truly an iridescent pearl exhibiting a rare professionally managed education setting, fine staff and an admirable learning atmosphere. This school is worthy of parent investment of time and effort to become a more highly rated and better respected elementary in the San Rafael community.
This school is a wonderful place to be taught, as my kid would say. Since his arrival, his grades has risen by 15%. I am very proud of him.
