I love St. Raphaels School! I truly believe that St. Raphaels school is amazing! I read some of the other parent reviews and l feel that the academics are far better than public school, the staff is caring, concerned, and treat each child as an individual. The teachers are fabulous and wonderful communicators with both the families and children. The new principal is excellent, she cares so much about the children and the staff, she is aware of what the school needs to be successful in all aspects! I feel that St. Raphaels is a wonderful school and will put a wonderful bunch of students into this world!

We are so excited to put our 4th child at St. Raphael School next year. Our other 3 children love the school. There are many after school classes this year. These classes include Academic Chess, Sports Skills, Kids Hip Hop, Art, and tennis. There's something for everyone. We are watching this school continue to improve and can't imagine being anywhere else!

Our children attended St. Raphael after moving to the area. They attended Catholic school their entire academic careers prior to enrollment at St. Raphael. After their first year we pulled them from the school and enrolled them elsewhere. We found that the academics were not competitive with the local schools, the teachers were not supported by the administration and the administration was out of touch with how to best meet the needs of the students. There are great families who send their children to this school and teachers who really care about their students but if you want your child to compete with other students academically when they reach high school you should look at a different school.

Interesting reviews. I am a parent and I am very happy all around. As to the parent who rated the academics low, I would disagree. I would suggest that parent talk with high school teacher as I have. They will find that St. Raphael students, in general, are among the best prepared for studies at the next level. All kids are different and some have to work harder in the classroom. Sometimes parents forget that and will immediately blame the school for the problem. I have multiple kids and know that they all learn at different rates. Whatever school you decide on, you better take the role as primary educator to ensure your kids excel - wherever you put them!

Both of our children have attended St. R's since preschool. We are our childrens primary educators but this school does a incredible job filling in the blanks. They nuture our children in a safe enviroment. They constantly challennge them in the class room to expand their learning curve. The families are committed and everyone, and I mean everyone is involved. This is an incredible faith based school with a price tag we can afford. We highly recommend it!

My daughter transferred in after two years at another private school---and I am thrilled with all aspects (except gym--but I can live with that). Financially stable, fiscally sane, great parents, fabulous kids, warm environment, organized and consistent leadership, and academically challenging without being over-the-top. I love rolling in to this school every morning and feel connected with teachers, kids, and parents.

The principal is out of touch with today's education opportunities. Class curriculum is not on par with public schools in the area and the junior high courses are lacking. The teachers are 'tired' and there are very few new ideas. If you are looking for a school with strong parent involvement, strong religuous teachings and disipline, this is the school for you. If academic achievement is what you are looking for, check out other schools as this may not be the school for you.

Both of my children go to St, Raphael's School, since Preschool! One of my daughter's is severely learning disabled, but as most LD children, she is very intelligent. Instead of turning us away, St. Raphael's has embrassed our family, challenged her both in the classroom as well as through their OASIS program. Not only is she thriving, but excelling! My other daughter evlauated into the young 5 program. Since that time she is one of the top studnets in her class academically! We commute 1 hour each way, but it is worth the travel time and the gas that we put out each week!

Okay school nice kids and principal, but I was not impressed with their kindergarten program. My child was extremely behind when I transferred out. Most kids her age already knew how to read, and he did not. This caused him a lot of stress and heart ache.

This school is wonderful, my daughter absolutely loves attending. I researched many other schools in the area and this school proved to be the one that I felt really cared about my child's spiritual and educational needs.
