My daughter got accepted to go to this school and I can't me more excited for her to get into this school and district. Dealing with the bureaucracy of Santa Rosa City district was a complete nightmare and I have a complete opposite feeling about this school within Bennet Valley district. After taking the tour, I was overwhelming impressed and I toured almost every school in Santa Rosa. A true blessing!

because my daughters teacher pays close attention to her students and was able to notice my daughter had a difficult time concentrating and is helping us by fixing the problem early.

Yulupa is a first rate school. The teachers are wonderful, the academics are top notch, and the best part is the community and parent involvement. Despite education cutbacks, there is no lack in support for art and music education.

I was worried about placing my son in school because I didn't know how his experience would be, but the teacher really took care of him and I saw his academic, and social development increase at a high speed. He never complained about his teacher. The school as a whole is really friendly, professional and overall well run. Parents are really involved, and the staff made sure my son had what he needed to do good. I recommend this school very much. There is tons of extra curricular activities and they offer a good mix of academics (art, math, reading, writing)

I love Yulupa School! My daughter is now going into 1st grade. She has had a wonderful experience at Yulupa. Every time I help at an event or celebration I am always so impressed by the teachers and staff. Everyone is so involved in making sure our children get the best education and I am so grateful. My daughter has grown so much and it is wonderful to see her enjoy school. I want to personally thank all the teachers, staff and parent helpers for all that you do. I am a parent helper myself and enjoy every minute of it! Keep up the great work.

The Bennet Valley School District with two schools namely Yulupa and Strawberry have been ideal institutions for my children. I have one who went to both and is in seventh grade and one is in second grade now. The PTA raises money for the music, dance and art lessons . Excellent administrators, teachers and parent volunteers make this a wonderful district to entrust the education of your child to.

My son is now in second grade at Yulupa Elementary in Bennett Valley. We are very happy with this school. There are only 2 schools in this district with Yulupa being for K-3 and Strawberry for 4-6. The Superintendent and the two principles take pride in this school district and take care of the schools very well. Yulupa School is situated in a quiet upper middle class residential area with lots of parks and meadows around it. The school has large playgrounds and is well kept. Volunteer Parent Helpers are invited to come into the classrooms every day. The parent association (APT) organizes many special events and makes arts and music programs available to all students. Afternoon activities are offered through the Parks and Recreation department (currently: science, piano, chess etc.). Excellent afternoon reading programs and onsite YMCA before and after school care with summer, winter and spring camps.
