This school offers many AP classes and offers a wide variety of sports. I am a parent with a student currently attending as well as one who has graduated and I feel truly blessed that my children can attend such a wonderful school!

I have had two children go to Grace Brethren Jr/Sr High School. One transferred in from public school and altough it did take some time to adjust - was well received by the other students and had a wonderful two years at the school. My son is currently attending and playing football. Can't say enough about the football program - I am so proud for my son to be part of it. Excellent administration, teachers, staff and coaches. I have a 16 year old son who loves to go to school - what more can I say? Thanks Grace!

I attended Grace Brethren Jr/Sr High School for six years, from 6th grade until graduation in 12th grade. GBHS provided a stimulating environment that adequately prepared me for my college career. GBHS also provided a Christian atmosphere for my growth with Christ. There is strong favoritism towards athletics (as you find at almost EVERY modern high school), but it was not overbearing for those of us who were involved in other things (choir, drama, etc). Excellent faculty, though many are fresh out of college.

Wonderful administration, especially the guidance counselor, VP and the leader of the History program. As a former parent, my only concern is the emphasis on sports and the allowance of a coach to influence and bully students. In a christian environment one has to remember the staff make up the christian status and it is the hope that any student that is not saved will be once they are done with Grace. This will not happen if we allow a greater emphasis on sports instead of service.

I have had three children graduate from Grace Brehtren and I thank God continually for the opportunities and education they received there. My three graduates were all very well prepared for the rigors of college but more importantly they were prepared for the rigors of life intellectually, spiritually and physically. The curriculum is well planned, well taught and and well balanced. The faculty at Grace Brethren are well educated, highly skilled and spiritually mature role models. I would highly recommend Grace Brethren to the parents that are specifically looking for an academically excellent christian education for their student(s)

Mixed review here: As with any school, there are some good people here (parents, students & faculty), but in my opinion, the mix is too watered down for a Christian School. We see a very high turnover rate which seems to be tied to athletics (way too much emphasis on football/baseball) or expectations for a Christian School that are not being met. Why pay for an environment that is only partially meeting those expectations. In short, alot of foul language among students, principal who is out of touch, too much emphasis on football, and too many young & inexperienced teachers that have no business guiding kids through important issues. Hopefully , things will turn around because, again, there are alot of good people here who deserve better.

The quality of the teachers (bible inparticular) is borderline fanatical (over the top), and there are several other teachers (british lit., Geometry) which could use an overhauling (out with the old, in with new). However, compared to the public schools and attitudes of the students/kids coming out of them, this school is wonderful ! if for no other reason but the atmosphere that a child can be brought up in, i rate this school the highest possible !

Whereas there are always one or two teachers which could use improvement (which you will find at any school), grace high school has a wonderful atmosphere and spirituality amongst the students. The new principal is always available for any consultations and is a welcome addition to the school. The only area which can use improvement is the college guidance department.
