We just moved to Tahoe. The kids had only attended private school, but they were able to adapt well. They are happy and very well adjusted. The principle is aware and engaged. Their teachers Mrs. Lehmann and Mrs. Aaron are wonderful. We could not be happier.

We just moved to this school this year and we couldn't be happier. Our daughter is so happy. Her teacher is great. So far everyone has been so nice and real. They are starting a watch dog dads group. The response by the parent community was overwhelming. They hoped for 30-40 dads, they got over 150! That is a perfect example of this awesome school. Great kids, supportive parents, caring teachers, helpful administration all led by a principal that strives to make his school better every day. So glad we moved here!

Fantastic school. My kindergartener knows more than I did in 2nd grade and the kids really enjoy the teaching styles here. The incorporation of environmental consciousness (education and responsibility but not over the top) into lessons is a welcome bonus. The teachers are fantastic, the administration is dedicated and involved and the curriculum is ambitious but not overwhelming. So glad my children will have this experience and we in South Lake Tahoe are so lucky to have a top-notch elementary school in our little town.

This is a great school. The teachers are so caring and really go out of their way to work with the students and their parents. I love to volunteer whenever I can and the teachers are very welcoming. Love the students that attend this school and the the entire staff. Thanks all for working so hard.

The school's great, but the parents are very stuck up and clickish, it feels very uncomfortable going to any school functions there. Unless you join the PTA, work there or just happen to know the 'right' people, it's hard to enjoy volunteering. If you drive a Mercedes, Volvo, Audi, BMW, Infinity or Porsche , you will be well liked and fit right in! Additionally, if you have a fake tan, bleached teeth, bleached hair, fake b**bs AND workout incessantly, you should fit in also! ;~)

LTEMS students learn how to live and grow in a way that preserves and protects the beautiful world they live in... Lake Tahoe! The school lives up to it's name. Our teachers and staff are very dedicated to providing the students with the tools they need to propel their curiosity and learn and grow. My granddaughter has become an involved citizen in our little community. It's very exciting to me to see her evolve into such an environmentally conscious kid!

The Magnet School is a safe haven of learning in this sometimes scary world. The Teachers and Parents work as a team to breathe trust,knowledge,respect, and values into our children. I wish it continued into middle school too!

All families should consider moving up to South Lake Tahoe so that their kids can attend this school! My daughter goes there... and I can't wait till my son starts kindergarten. I wish the elementary school I went to when I was a kid had been like LTESMS.

Fantastic elementary school with a focus on the environmental sciences. The teachers are fantastic and give the kids their all. Great parent involvement. The campus is beautiful with Mount Tallac views and no motor vechicle trafic. My children love going to school everyday!
