As a student attending this school, I have never seen better support, not only physically and academically, but more importantly spiritually in faith with God. In just two months at this school, Augusta has taught me more than all of the teachers in my past had, helping me with academics and graduating high school in such a short time. Before I came to this school, I was in an emotional rollercoaster. Diagnosed with social anxiety disorder, the fear of people and how I think they would think and judge me has greatly impacted my ability to learn and function normally. My previous school didn't accomodate my needs and during the middle of the school year (March 2011), my mom found out about this school and so I came. Reluctant at first, it was THE best decision of my life. With Augusta's help, I managed to finish high school in the two months that I have attended LAMBO and now I am going to college this summer. Being in 11th grade, I have never thought that in just this short of time, I managed to skip about 1.5 years of high school! More importantly, I have much confidence and don't struggle with anxiety anymore! I truly praise this school with all my heart and spirit.
Graduating from Lamb-O Academy, my first and last experience of private high school, successfully launched me off to the start of college life. I never had the confidence to graduate as early as an 11th grader. Yet, this teacher gave me that motivation and courage to stand up and fight the challenge. From the onset of attending Lamb-O, she taught me with a passion I've never seen before. The circling spirit and power of her heart exemplified the difference. As I dispatched off to this school, my coach patiently groomed my academics, especially English writing, in such a way that I felt like I'm always creatively writing in my head. Her compassionate attitude towards teaching, leading, and helping the youth is one true heart I would encourage anyone to see, feel, and hear. I've sponged up so much in one year, following and learning from this woman of faith and character.
Sister Augusta has been my son s English language Arts teacher for 3 years. She is a very knowledgeable, creative and enthusiastic teacher. The very impressive part of her is her love for kids. She has a super warm , forgivable and kind heart with full of God s love. She always builds up kids self-esteem and motivation to learn. She has God s eyes to figure out what are kids strengths and weakness parts in a short face to face interview. I believe it is very important to kids and parents. Plus, she has have 40 years experience of Scouting. It means to me that she is not only a academics teacher but a life skills coach. As kids grow up they need to know how to manage their people skills and life skills in their real life. She has lots great positive life experiences that really help kids never give up easily.
I highly recommend Rev.Augusta as a teacher. She has many years of experience as a teacher. She also leads boy scouts and girl scouts for more than 25 years. She is the founder of the private school LAMBO Academy in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale/Cupertino/SJ, California, and is outstanding in teaching all academic subjects and leadership skills to students and special needs kids from kindergarten to 12th grades; plus, junior college-level students. Rev.Augusta not only has strong knowledge, abilities, and skills in teaching, she also has great enthusiasm, leadership skill, passion and true love for children. My children really love her.
Pastor Augusta has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. Her lessons have been well thought-out and professional. She is always willing to adjust/customize any part of her lessons she thought could be improved in the interest my 3rd & 6th grade sons' respective unique capabilities. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching complex topics into simple concepts for immediate understanding, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly superior. She also has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, reliable, and computer-literate. She accomplishes these tasks with great initiative and with a very positive attitude --- a great inspiration for the kids to model effective leadership with responsibility and accountability.
This place is an excellent experience! When I first heard about this 'school', I expected a campus. But when I came here, I was greeted by somethins less spectacular. But as I entered the door, I was greeted by smiles and laughter. As i settled down to the place, I felt a sense of close fiendship with the people here. This is a place where I don't have to worry about being ridiculed. I can actually sit down and have a fun learning! I was never put down, even when I made a fool of myself. Not only was learning fun, they also had a variety of programs like scouting (boy/girl and venture), Martial arts, and many more! This is a school where we kids can learn and play. If your looking for an engaging private school, scouting troop or you want a good program, then come and check it out.
