I love this school the PTO, the staff and the teacher. To say that our school is not up to date your students probably no longer go there. So sad. This is a great school and the Principle Mrs. Minajares is awesome.

My children are attending Tompkins this year. Tompkins has a brand new computer lab which students are excited about. The class sizes are 20 students in K-2 and 30 in 3-5. My children have excelled and are straight A students. Their teachers have been awesome. With the schools new safety policy being enforced I feel my children are very safe. All volunteers have to be fingerprinted and scanned through LIVESCAN. Our principal for the last 2 yrs. (Mrs. Minjares) is very excited and has fun educational/health programs.

School is behind in technology and needs to coordinate up-to-date computer skills with state educational guidelines. Current teacher assigned to my child seems to lack one-on-one sessions and has failed to keep him above grade level. Classroom size are increasing and API scores are trending lower in the coming years. Long term teachers need to regain their 'spark' and aggressively challenge kids above grade level.
